"interim summary" is a correct and usable phrase in written English.
It refers to a brief overview or summary of the main points or progress made during a specific period of time, usually used in a longer or ongoing discussion or report. Example: "Before moving on to the next phase of our project, let's take a moment for an interim summary of our progress thus far."
