Yet for all the out-of-state interest, this race has a very local feel.
That interest transcends race and can be translated into something bigger.
Indeed, a great deal of what the report says is gleaned from the work of 28 domestic non-governmental groups with an interest in race relations.
"I've got a very heavy interest in race, mainly because I don't believe in it.
The topic was timely during a period of increased national interest in race, sex, and presidential hypocrisy.
Yet nothing in Becker's presentation suggested that he had the slightest interest in race, sexuality, or gender.
The primary independent variable of interest was race (white vs. black).
Covariates of interest included race (white, black), maternal age (≤20, 21 34, and >34), maternal education (<13, ≥13 years), Medicaid (yes, no), and parity (nulliparous, primiparous, and multiparous).
Despite his racing pedigree, and the immediate proximity of a successful racing stable, Cecil showed little interest in racing during his days at Canford school, Dorset.
