Mr. Bassuk was the artistic director of Novel Stages in Philadelphia, which specializes in new interdisciplinary works.
There is still room, for example, for artists' residencies, called the Platform project, that make use of the lobby and other open spaces, including the grounds, for nontraditional, interdisciplinary works.
Annemie Vanackere, artistic and managing director of the HAU Hebbel am Ufer theatre, which itself produces many interdisciplinary shows, said: "I see every day that there is a young and international audience in Berlin that wants new types of storytelling, whether it's performance, dance, theatre or interdisciplinary works that aren't served by classical theatre.
The festival, which runs Jan . 3to 19, includes theater, dance and interdisciplinary works, and will be staged at sites around New York as P.S. 122 continues the renovations that have kept it out of its East Village home since 2011.

The idea of interdisciplinary work for genomics is not new.
The classes will emphasize collaborative and interdisciplinary work.
"The problem of interdisciplinary work is the question of competence," Beer says.
"My interest was always to do interdisciplinary work with space," Diller told me.
