The endothelial cells have so far been mainly viewed in the context of tumor perfusion and relatively little is known regarding the effects of such paracrine interactions on the expression of extracellular matrix (ECM), proteasome activity and properties of endothelial cells.
To study the influence of interactions on the expression level prediction, we used linear models with interaction terms.
We conducted Venn diagram analyses on the autosome interaction for the expression of genes in each of the SCOP general function categories of metabolism, regulation, and intracellular processes.
The four wheat genes, WRIS_671 (BAX inhibitor 1), WRIS_233 (cyclophilin), WRIS_1264 (defender against cell death 2) and WRIC_116 (putative cell death suppressor) were predicted to be related to defense against cell death at different infection stages of wheat- Pst interaction based on the expression patterns (Fig. 4).
