"intentionally ignorant" is a correct and usable phrase in written English.
It means deliberately choosing to not know or understand something. You can use this phrase when describing someone who is willfully avoiding knowledge or actively choosing to remain ignorant about a certain topic. Example: Despite the ample evidence and available resources, the politician remained intentionally ignorant about the effects of climate change.
