Transparency concerns focused not only on the data and algorithms used, but also on the potential to have some form of explanation for any AI-based determination… Ethical training should be augmented with technical tools and methods for putting good intentions into practice by doing the technical work needed to prevent unacceptable outcomes.
It also includes volitional techniques to facilitate realistic goal setting [ 28], and to translate intentions into practice (e.g. action plans) [ 17, 20].
The findings of a major study in the field by Ghalandarpoorattar et al. confirm that although physicians express willingness to disclose errors to patients quite frequently, they do not put their intentions into practice.
Aronsson and Göransson [ 18] found that employees who wanted to change jobs but did not put their intentions into practice reported more symptoms such as headache, slight depression and fatigue than other employees i.e. an interaction effect between turnover intentions and job mobility due to their effect on health.
Our county council is behind the other county councils, which have counselors, psychologists and psychosocial teams at the healthcare units.' At each county council management, developed routines for putting the RG's intentions into practice at the clinical level, addressing what therapies to offer, the content in these therapies, and which professionals should perform the therapies.
The functions described above suggest that the device is intended to support health professionals in clinical decision making and assist patients in their care through detection of CAN Fig. 1 2. However, to transform these intentions into practice, the intended use of the technology must be supported by the users and the organizational context of use.
Putting Technologies Into Practice.
But can that be done in time to turn good intentions into good practice?
How such intentions are put into practice is another matter.
