The intervention is aimed at cancer patients treated with curative intent, aged 18 60 years, employed and on sick leave.
The criteria for inclusion in the feasibility study are as follows: diagnosis of cancer, undergoing adjuvant chemotherapy with curative intent, aged 18 60 years, having paid employment, being absent from work or intending to report sick before the start of treatment.
Eligible participants are individuals recently diagnosed with any type of cancer, being treated with curative intent, aged over 18 years with sufficient English language literacy, internet access and an active email account and phone number.
With regard to the second aim, a feasibility study will be conducted involving a maximum of 130 cancer patients who are treated with curative intent, aged 18 60 years, employed and on sick leave.
Sixty five per cent of those with information on self harm with and without suicidal intent at age 16 years returned the questionnaire at age 21 years (n=3128/4799).
