From immunofluorescence study, we observed that, in a portion of DLC1 transfected cells, DLC1 exhibited a focal adhesion localization pattern (Figure S1A); whereas in some other DLC1 transfected cells, especially those displaying extensive cell shrinkage, an intensive loss of stress fiber-linked focal adhesions was observed (Fig. 1C).
