Table 2 shows the intensity of service provision by the six programmes for the various components of HIV prevention services (Table 2).
Examining stroke therapy provision in units which are performing well and less well according to the Stroke Sentinel National Audit Programme will highlight examples of good practice and areas where improvements can be made to bring about an increase in the frequency and intensity of therapy provision.
Since this study was commissioned, only one other DCE of stroke patient preferences has reported [ 21], however, this focused on the in-patient setting, recruiting patients within a few weeks of acute stroke onset, and focusing on preferences for the intensity of rehabilitation provision.

There has been some experimentation with the terms of unemployment compensation to further promote reemployment including the use of reemployment bonuses, variation in the intensity of monitoring job search, and the provision of job search assistance and self-employment assistance.
These factors included patient specific factors, including their functional status, preferences and patterns of available family support; patterns of service provision including the intensity of home care.
We had few exclusion criteria, and the intensity of the intervention was realistically achievable within current publicly funded models of provision of antenatal care.
