Tunny was the top cipher-system, which carried only the highest grade of intelligence: messages from German army HQ in Berlin, army groups, high command, top generals and field marshals on all the battle fronts, even messages were signed by Hitler himself.
The concept was developed to track individuals based on commonalities, as, according to the NIST, tattoos, "suggest affiliation to gangs, subcultures, religious or ritualistic beliefs, or political ideology" along with "contain[ing] intelligence; messages, meaning and motivation".
Intercepted and decoded by the British Admiralty Intelligence, this message was communicated to Wilson on February 24.
"THE HOLY CAUSE OF CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE" The message came from Donovan's deputy, Brigadier General John Magruder, a gentleman soldier who had been in the army since 1910.
On the way, he says, he reads a summary of operational and intelligence traffic—"messages, e-mails, or whatever"—from the past twenty-four hours.
Other partners will provide "message intelligence" and perform sentiment analysis on text messages, for example, while others focus on "recording intelligence" and allow you to record calls and then maybe provide sentiment analysis or transcription services based on these recordings.
Advancing technology has enabled us to conduct this human quest for knowledge with more scientific means: optical and radio-wavelengths are being monitored for messages by an extra-terrestrial intelligence and active messaging attempts have also been undertaken.
