Chemists and the cheminformatics community have thus been aware for several years of the requirement for advanced data integration facilities in scientific software systems.
An overview of four European projects demonstrates the use of support tools and tool integration facilities in development processes of systems having in sight the demand of certification according to domain-specific standards.
