In the present analysis, we integrated exposure and risk information for active smoking, passive cigarette smoking, and air pollution to evaluate the shape of the exposure response relationship.
We considered but ultimately chose not to use an integrated exposure classification that incorporated tap water concentration, ingestion, and bathing and showering behaviors due to the high correlation between this integrated exposure classification and the isolated bathing and showering classification (r = 0.97).
We plan to develop integrated exposure metrics that can address multi-subtask tasks using a weighting system that scores the subtask with the highest physical exposures first and then adds incremental weights for other lower exposure subtasks.
The goals of our geographically integrated exposure assessment are a) to identify the dominant DDT exposure routes for the four populations, b) to compare the exposure of the four populations, and c) to assess for each population the consistency of our exposure estimates against the DDT levels measured by biomonitoring.
Human biomonitoring is ideally suited to assess this level of exposure as, by its very nature, it integrates all routes of exposure (oral, dermal and by inhalation) and provides currently the most reliable and relevant integrated exposure metric.
These results illustrate that the more toxic cyanide in the integrated exposure pathway in the study area can also explain the higher non-carcinogenic risks.

Integrated exposure-response models for PM 2.5 for heart disease, stroke, and respiratory illness provide quantitative support for standards of acceptable indoor air pollution exposures.
It was demonstrated that the method allows for the accurate monitoring of low levels of EtO exposure and provides personalized time-integrated exposure data with great discriminative power.
Indeed, house dust presents the advantage of providing one matrix for the evaluation of multiple agents which is a reasonable proxy for time-integrated exposure [ 15].
Measurement of hopanes in settled house dust may therefore be useful to estimate time-integrated exposure to TRAP, while also accounting for variability in infiltration.
Dust samples provide the opportunity for quantifying exposure to a variety of agents (e.g., allergens, phthalates, and fungal markers) and when collected from a reservoir, such as deep carpet, can represent a time-integrated exposure (Roberts et al. 2009).
