SEA is one of the most important instruments for the implementation of the sustainable development strategy in planning.
The results contribute to an understanding of the introductory guidelines that need to be developed if the comprehensive plans would operate as effective instruments for comparable implementation of the ELC across the country.
However, the practical utility of theory-derived research instruments for measuring implementation and normalisation processes can only be fully realised through research and development activity that is focused on providing guidance for the operationalisation and adaptation of such measures for use in the contextually diverse environments in which health care work is conducted.
First findings and experiences with the toolkit (i.e. questionnaires and protocols for sampling and data collection) are presented and evaluated, aimed to assure the usability and feasibility of the instruments for national implementation as standard client surveys in the nursing and care sector.
We assessed the relevance of the training in terms of clarity ("The content was clear"), newness ("The content was new"), and applicability in medical practice ("The course offered instruments for the implementation of the content") using a 5-point Likert scale ranging from 1 = strongly agree to 5 = strongly disagree.
