This paper describes a prototype of the universal gateway connecting various architecture of wireless sensor networks which are based on the architecture of intelligent sensors that use the open IEEE 1451 standard which provides the interface among sensors/actuators and instruments, microprocessors and networks.
Five of these staff are scientists charged with data monitoring (checking data, derived parameters, trends, etc)., five others are engineers charged with instrument and network maintenance and monitoring.
