"instructed tasks" is a grammatically correct and usable phrase in written English.
It can be used when describing tasks that have been specifically assigned or given to someone to complete. Example: As a manager, I regularly assign instructed tasks to my team members, ensuring that everyone knows their responsibilities and deadlines.
Application without feedback allows for the investigation of the functional role of the cerebral tissue in the vicinity of each electrode contact by monitoring power variations online as the patient performs specific instructed tasks or as he/she responds to various stimuli.

Crucially, however, because the protoface stimulus is wholly task-irrelevant in the present paradigm, this result provides the first evidence that adults exhibit involuntary, exogenous orienting; the protoface captures attention despite being unrelated to the instructed task.
Previous studies using instructed task-switching designs have reported positive waves over posterior scalp regions that accompany frontal negativities like the CNV we observed (Astle et al. 2008; Lavric et al. 2008).
This spatial clustering enabled us to detect lateralization in the CNV and the slow posterior positivity, as has been previously reported in the literature on instructed task switching (Astle et al. 2006; Lavric et al. 2008).
