The L-estimate SM provides good estimation for the component with slow varying instantaneous frequency (Figure 4(b)).
However, when the same train protocol was performed in the presence of 100 µM Cu-Phen, the current markedly increased (by 3.45-fold; n = 6, p<0.01) and progressively developed an instantaneous component (Figure 6C).
In contrast, the double mutant R228C-C136A totally suppressed the ability of Cd2+ and of Cu-Phen to activate the current both in the outward and inward direction and to induce an instantaneous component (figure 7A and B and Table 1).
When oocytes are preincubated for 10 min with Cu-Phen (100 µM) and subsequently washed out for 5 min with ND96, all at −80 mV, opening the I227C channels by a step depolarization to 0 mV produced a time- and voltage-dependent K+ current (red trace before the arrow) without any instantaneous component (Figure 4E).
It takes only seconds to render the network and the interactivity using the mouse-over feature or when clicking on nodes or edges is close to instantaneous. Figure 1 is the result of a search for the interactions in the 'RIG-I-like receptor signalling pathway (KEGG)' in InnateDB.

It can be seen that the optimal number of cooperative SUs increases with decreasing the reporting delay and the instantaneous detection SNR. Figure 4 shows the optimal sensing time versus the reporting delay under different instantaneous detection SNR γ.
