The proposed method was applied to a 356-m-long concrete road with 121 inspection wells to find that the minimum amount of monitoring points is 60 and the maximum effective monitored length is 274.7 m.
Chetty and Saez are established leaders in their field, and their previous work has stood up to inspection very well.
"If there is structural damage, the Department of Buildings would be called in to perform an inspection as well," Mr. Warren said.
"Even when an inspection goes well," says NAHT policy chief, Lesley Gannon, "there's something about the way it happens – it isn't enough about school improvement".
The conditions include independent inspection of well integrity, mandatory monitoring for fugitive emissions and a presumption against development in protected areas such as National Parks.
