In fact comparing the human and rat sequences reveals that the first 26 amino acids of the equivalent rat sequence is actually the Iγ_i3-specific insert (Ref. [5], see Fig. 1C).
When the values for these parameters are inserted from ref. 19, a root finding algorithm is applied to determine the equilibrium concentrations of all the members of this system: [Cks1], [Skp2], [p27], [Skp2-Cks1], [Cks1-p27] and [Skp2-Cks1-p27] [Skp2-Cks1-p27] [Skp2-Cks1-p27]
This graph also explains the presence of uncovered Ref-Ditags, which have significantly larger insert sizes than covered Ref-Ditags.
