Indeed, RpoB of M. infernorum (Minf_0804) has the same 3-aa insert, and indeed, this indel supports the existence of a separate Chlamydia/Verrucomicrobia clade, as do our results shown in Figure 2 and Supplementary Figure 1 [see Additional file 1 ].
