Four weeks after transfer, recipient mice were analyzed for autoantibody production (ANAs, anti-dsDNA Abs) for signs of inflammatory skin disease and for involvement of inner organs (lung and kidney) as described above.
But how about the soil samples of the inner organs: lungs, liver and kidneys – do the Hg concentrations determined in the soil really give a fair picture of the Hg concentrations of these organs when the individual was alive?
