The three different medicinal plants extracts (Tebengau, Cemumar, Kedondong) and the commercial drug acarbose (2.0 mg/mL) were used to measure the inhibition potential in the biosensor by the difference of uninhibited and inhibited oxidation or reduction peaks of the released p-NP.
This is in agreement with previous observations which showed differential expression of actin in response to IBA between pine hypocotyls and epicotyls [ 37], of actin7 between juvenile and mature cuttings of Eucalyptus grandis [ 25], and a change in a FIMBRIN-LIKE2 (Fin2) in transgenic poplar with inhibited AR formation potential[ 14].
In striatal slices, acute QA application dramatically inhibited corticostriatal field potentials (FPs), whose recovery was significantly higher in CNTF rats compared to controls (∼40% vs. ∼7%), confirming an enhanced resistance to excitotoxicity.

Glyphosate, as a kind of organic pesticide with amine, carboxyl and phosphonate group which would coordinate strongly to metal ions, possessed the potential to inhibited the activity of HRP, because HRP contain iron (III) protoporphyrin IX (ferriprotoporphyrin IX) as the prosthetic group which would react with the amine, carboxyl and phosphonate group of glyphosate.
