The information about worm paralogs is obtained from the EuGenes database [ 18] and consists of 30036 paralogous pairs involving 10071 worm proteins (blastp with 10-30 cutoff and no requirements on the length of aligned region).
Giving the farmers the right information regarding worm control is a key stone in preventing anthelmintic resistance.
The local veterinarian (56.0%), agriculture magazines (22.2%) and other farmers (18.9%) were the three most important sources of information regarding worm control practice (data not shown).
