One shows what high and low levels of 'partnership and participation' in care and decision-making between children, families and healthcare professionals looks like, and the second explains the critical factors associated with high and low levels of translation, implementation and use of children's health information resources in routine practice (see Figure 4).
An understanding of the barriers and facilitators, both perceived and actual, experienced by healthcare professionals and consumers in using CMI is necessary for the development of strategies and policies to promote increased use and better integration of CMI, and similar information resources, into daily practice.
Over 50% of naturopaths identified five areas of practice where information resources were not very adequate.

Factors found to influence clinicians' choice of information resources included specialty, type and locus of practice, experience, age, and work roles and tasks [ 4, 5, 17- 19].
The current Australian practice incentives do not prescribe which information resources GPs should use.
