The Publishing and Multimedia Service will support these external activities by providing information on qualified editorial and desktop publishing consultants and through a process of internal editorial quality control of information products prior to external printing or reproduction.
For 7 (2.9%) journals it was difficult to find information on the editorial structure, for 20 (8.2%) the information about the publication, and for 40 (17.5%) the information on the first page of the published article.
When the paper is submitted to the second journal, the author notes the new accession number and then sends an email to the first journal (contact information for editorial offices is on the NPRC website), asking them to send the reviews for their manuscript to the second journal (giving both the accession number at the first journal, and the new accession number at the second journal).
Hence, the insignificant coverage of activity information of editorials, features, and advertisement orientation may suggest a feeling of ambivalence occasioned by a lack of skill and knowledge on the part of editorial and feature writers in the various newspapers studied.
