Firstly, NGOs provide a broad range of services for this group such as interpreting, culturally sensitive services, psychotherapy and/or counselling, treatment for victims of torture, active outreach, provision of information, material support, social welfare, legal counselling and mental health advocacy.
Like other health communication strategies, written health information materials support informed choices regarding whether or not to attend CRC screening and have certain tests performed [ 7, 8].
To encourage good hygiene practices UNICEF is supporting house-to-house campaigns to reach 110,000 people in affected provinces with information material, logistical support and training of mobilisation teams.

Children with a safer attachment relationship with their family and who receive more information, material goods, warmth and support from their family, are more likely to be able to use these resources to overcome stressful life events and as a result have better physical and mental health [ 16- 19].

In both study sites information was distributed to parents/legally accepted representatives of potential participants through meetings organized in the community, followed by several steps of family and individual based information sessions, with supporting information material.
