To overcome these gaps in a cost-effective manner, enterprise leaders must consider a range of potential partners that can provide support across a wide range of functions - for example, helping to facilitate operational activities, providing access to financial and other resources, influencing supply and demand, or otherwise enhancing the context in which the enterprise operates.
This paper attempts to answer some of these questions and, using a Delphi technique, to forecast those factors likely to influence supply chain development and performance in two LRRs in the UK: West Wales and the Scottish English Borders.
