In order to elicit more nuanced perceptions and attitudes from some patients for whom English was not their first language, seven interviews were conducted entirely in an Indigenous language by fluent non-Indigenous contract interviewers.
Set up with another recorder, the non-Indigenous contract-interviewer interpreted directly into English both their own original questions and the participant's response.
