Non-renewable energy use (NREU), greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and agricultural land occupation (ALO) are the three indicators analysed.
The indicators analysed in this study are defined in Table 1.
In univariate analysis, none of the biological indicators analysed were correlated with tumour recurrence using the log-rank test (P>0.1, respectively) (data not shown), except that muscle-invasive tumours tended to have a higher risk of local recurrence (P=0.06).
In order to assess the accuracy of the optical measurement system we attached passive markers of the optical measurement system to the spindle of the dial indicators, analysed the collapse of the measuring spindle and compared the values of the dial indicators with those of the optical measurement system.
The specific quality indicators analysed included: achieving blood pressure (≤150 mmHg systolic and ≤90 mmHg diastolic) or cholesterol (≤5 mmol/l) control and receiving antiplatelets/anticoagulants or influenza vaccination if they were on maximum tolerated therapy, refusal to undergo a procedure or had a contraindication, adverse or allergic reactions to therapy.
It is hence possibly true that the three economic hardships indicators analysed in the present study all capture separate dimensions of the multifaceted construct of economic hardships (which is supported by the low intra-correlation between the three variables) and together enhance each other and all capture different pieces of the puzzle.
28 29 However, there were other specific factors that more directly influenced one of the indicators analysed: the case of the total cost (per user and per prescription), which could be affected by policies of rationalisation of medication (generic prescribing, standardised protocols) 30 31 and changes in drug pricing (review of medication prices by the government), among others.
Indicator analyses were conducted across the landscape, using two well-established methods (IndVal and SIMPER).
We compared VE estimates derived from community and test-negative controls and conducted bias-indicator analyses to assess potential bias with community controls.
For instance, when the output from processed data e.g. information maps, scale from a local (i.e. City) to national or regional levels for comparative environmental indicator analyses, the amounts of data and the number of processing requirements typically increase.
