A row of armored sport utility vehicles nearby indicated a visit from the ruling elite that, with its traffic-stopping convoys, its unkept promises to at least keep the lights on and the streets clean, not to mention what many characterize as its corruption, seems ever more disconnected from ordinary people.

To monitor healthcare utilization for potential adverse effects associated with KI exposure in the United States, we searched ED chief complaint (CC) data from all 635 nonfederal BioSense hospitals for the following keywords indicating a KI-related visit: (1) potas*, pottas*; (2) iodine, iodide; (3) KI; (4) radiation, radiation; (5) nuclea*; (6) Japan.
In these analyses, the outcome was a dichotomous variable indicating if a visit had an ICD coding or not.
The analysis of the stability of ratings (correlation between the same rating at different time points) revealed correlations in the medium range between Visit 2 and Visit 3, indicating a moderate stability of satisfaction with medication for both parents and patients (r = 0.54 and 0.59, respectively).
Figure 2 also illustrates this point with the majority of the points falling below zero, indicating a lower number of visits for PDR.
The correlations ranged between 0.86-0.92 for all probes, 0.83-0.90 for probes with SD > 0.5 and 0.90-1.00 for probes with detection score > 0.95 indicating a higher reproducibility between visits using the detection score as a probe filter (Table 1).
Visits are excluded from this secondary analysis when: 1) patients have medical co-morbidities listed in Additional file 2: Appendix E, or 2) patients had concomitant visit diagnoses indicating a non-ARI possible bacterial infection (Additional file 1: Appendix E).
Subjects recorded respiratory symptoms three times daily by rating their symptoms on a scale of 0 to 5, with 0 indicating no symptoms present and 5 indicating a hospital or asthma clinic visit, following the Inner City Asthma Study (ICAS) protocol (Mortimer et al. 2002).
