For each of the four activities participants indicate their perceived skills (1 = not at all skilled to 4 = very skilled), their feelings of safety (1 = not at all safe to 4 = very safe) and the frequency in which they perform the activity (1 = never to 4 = almost daily/often).
Students were asked to indicate their confidence in: "your research skills generally," "your ability to succeed in graduate school," and "your qualifications for jobs in related fields".
Seems the classification clerks at the port of embarkation had got their company number mixed up with the code number indicating their special skill, & from then on they had been handled as buglers.
In a similar vein, Duszczyk and Paweł Kaczmarczyk (2013) document the prevalence of women, young, and well educated workers from Ukraine among EaP-migrants in Poland, indicating that their skills tend to complement those of the native labor force.
In the studies conducted by both Young et al. (2011, 2012), participating residents also indicated that their skills in conducting medication reconciliation had not significantly improved [ 31].
A few respondents indicated that their skills (e.g. communication skills) in the prevention of childhood obesity could be improved, and some professionals mentioned that they had low self-efficacy.
Respondents indicated that their skill-enhancement included improvement in relationship skills, responsiveness to different learning styles, provision of feedback, placement planning, management of emotional and self-care issues, time management skills, and overall confidence.
The findings indicated that students enhanced their skills on generating hypotheses and critical thinking.
The findings in the current qualitative process evaluation indicate that the facilitators improved their skills over time and functioned best if they were familiar with the local culture and were able to come to terms with the chair of the group.
Many participants indicated that they had increased their skills in acquiring, accessing, adapting and applying evidence.
