Black bold lines and letters indicate the cross sections A to A', B to B', and C to C'.
From cross section images of CNBs, three round structures of about 2.5 nm diameters were also observed clearly at center part of single-walled carbon nanohorn (SWCNH) aggregate, which indicates the cross section of bundled single-walled CNTs.
The positions A and A' indicate the cross-section of the channel.

The cross-sectional transmission electron microscopic [TEM] image of the NW channel is shown in Figure 2b, indicating that the cross section of the NW is about 11 × 6 nm, which is enclosed by the ONO gate stack and poly-Si gate.
