From inspection we see that people tend to leave blank entries for candidates that they do not like, as if to indicate a score of zero.
Norms have not been established to indicate a score for "adequate health literacy".
No attempt was made to give specimens that were unavailable or gave a negative culture an arbitrary cfu score since a negative culture could indicate a score anywhere between the value for 1 colony (1.78 log cfu/ml) and minus infinity; the results on these specimens were not used in the anlysis.
