For appetitive olfactory conditioning as well, scores for TH-GAL4/UAS-shits1 larvae were significantly reduced at the restrictive temperature compared to the two controls (Figure 3I; p = 0.003 for TH-GAL4/+ and p = 0.035 for UAS-shits1/+); for aversive but not for appetitive conditioning the performance indices of experimental TH-GAL4/UAS-shits1 larvae were not different from zero (p = 0.495).

8-Oxo-13-formyldihydropalmatine as an intermediate was found to display significant curative effect on UC in vivo based on the biomarkers of body weight change, colon length change, and calculated values of disease activity index and colon macroscopic damage index of the experimental animals, as well as the examination into the pathological changes of the colon tissue of the modeled animals.
The proliferation index of the experimental tumors is greater than 90% (Ki67), which is again a major feature of human BL [ 25].
