INDEPTH provides an exceptional resource with which to characterise the health, demographic and social dynamics of some of the world's most vulnerable populations.
I hope that the strong body of scientific research and evidence provided will attract further resources for more INDEPTH research in Asia.
Although it might be argued that prospective pregnancy registration could improve detection of pregnancies, and this is done in some INDEPTH sites, it is a hugely resource-intensive undertaking, probably only applicable in research settings.
