The headmaster of Trevor Day School, a prep school with campuses on the East and West Sides of Manhattan, was arrested yesterday on charges of sending indecent messages intended for underage girls over the Internet, the authorities said.
Dr. Dexter had been on a leave of absence from the school since Oct. 27, after the Westchester County district attorney's office charged him with two counts of sending indecent messages to underage girls over the Internet.
