There were no striking differences in the proportion of participants who reported any CAM use between the PF, CF, and CFS like groups (79.3%, 82.3%, and 79.6%, respectively), but the mean number of CAM modalities used by each study group increased across subgroups of PF – CF – CFS-like.
For future studies, the numbers of cases from both diagnostic groups should be increased and subgroups of remitted MDD and BD I patients should be included in order to differentiate between trait and state conditions of the GABAergic system in uni- and bipolar depression.
This may have increased the subgroup of children with intellectual disabilities in our selection.
This positive inflection point associated with a late pregnancy increase characterized subgroups of pregnancies according to the lengths of gestation as follows: early term (delivered at <38 weeks 1 day's gestation), middle term (delivered at 38 weeks 1 day–40 weeks' gestation), and late term (delivered at >40 weeks' gestation).
