In HIV care, compared with routine spontaneous reporting, TSR aims to increase reporting rates by targeting, training and mentoring reporters at selected high caseload clinics, and by task shifting the reporting to non-physician cadres of healthcare workers such as nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and patients living with HIV (PLHIV).
Campus climate surveys are a key priority for advocates for sexual assault survivors and experts on the issue, who say these studies can not only show the extent of the problem in each community, but also highlight gaps in policy and implementation and potentially increase reporting rates.
Overall, the findings indicate that there was no evidence of an increased safety risk or increased reporting rates of any types of adverse events with prolonged exposure to rituximab during the 9.5 years of observation.
For the period 1998 through 2000, we obtained congenital anomalies data from the newly established Wales Congenital Anomaly Register and Information Service CARISS) (Botting 2000) that became operational in 1998 and that has substantially increased reporting rates in Wales (Greenacre et al. 2000).

The third study of health professional AEFI reporting conducted in the United States included physicians, pharmacists, and nurses [ 21] and examined the frequency of reporting to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), beliefs and awareness of AEFI reporting, barriers to reporting and strategies to increase reporting rates.
To this end, an extension of the method proposed by DuMouchel et al. [ 10] to include the geographic dimension might be explored; they searched for increased reporting rates of an adverse reaction, compared with the historical reporting rates of that adverse reaction with the drug of interest.
Adverse events are believed to be under-reported to the FDA by a factor of as much as 10 and the reporting rate changes for the same product over time, with new and highly publicized drugs susceptible to increased reporting rates.
These findings also indicate that repeated peripheral B cell depletion with rituximab did not give rise to any increased safety risk over time or increased reporting rates of any types of AEs (including infections, cardiovascular events, malignancies or fatal AEs) in the global RA clinical trial programme.
More recently, automated alerting and data collection for case-patients with reportable diseases (e.g., a positive blood culture result with gram-negative diplococci triggers an alert with case-patient contact information to infection preventionists, local health department staff, or both) has been shown to increase reporting rates when applied to traditional passive surveillance systems (22, 23 ).
