For JADE-AV algorithm, in addition to improved accuracy of AV contrast, increasing integration time allows better estimates of higher order statistics of signals which affect separation quality of JADE algorithm.
It can be seen that increasing the integration time resulted in slight increase in the intensity of the fluorescence, but the three characteristic peaks remain unchanged.
As shown in Fig. 5A, increasing the integration time yielded an increased ratio for FFluc, reaching a maximal ratio at integration times between 5 and 10 s, depending on substrate concentration.
At the same time increasing integration, accelerating technology, networking of resources and a strong pull for more socially relevant scientific information have been modifying the mission and goals of ILTER.
In Fig. 3(b), increasing the integration time decreases the probability of deriving a wrong ambiguity.
The SNR can be improved by increasing the integration time or by using smoothing filters.
Increasing the integration time enhances accuracy of contrast functions (6) and (8) (see Section 5.1) and also reduces spurious local minima in the optimization landscape.
A combination of low laser power and low Raman cross-section of polymer-blends increases the integration time for spectra with SNR > 10, and can lead to TERS imaging times of several hours putting stringent demands on the stability of the TERS system [57].
In contrast, increasing the integration time resulted in a decreased signal to noise ratio for Gluc (Fig. 5B).
Of course, the precision of the the CW situation could be improved by increasing the integration time of the CCD.
