Lower quantification levels could be readily obtained by increasing counting time or incident flux and changing detectors.
The second FPC curve (FPC2) relates to a linear increase or decrease in counting times as the pregnancy proceeds; women with a high score on FPC2 will have a tendency towards increasing counting times as the pregnancy proceeds, while women with a large negative score will have a tendency towards decreasing counting times.
Also increased imaging time results in increased count number and better image quality.
The disadvantages are that collimation adds weight to the in situ system and increases the counting time by reducing the detector's field of view.
Included in FPC1 is also a small increase in counting times the very last days before birth.
Individual charts would naturally be represented by some, or all, of the FPCAs to varying extent; a chart with a high mean, i.e. a high score on FPC1, could also have a large increase in counting times towards the end of the pregnancy, i.e. a high score on FPC2, as well as considerable scores on FPC3 through FPC10.

Troponin release most frequently occurred on day 1 (32%%) with the majority (65%%) occurring before day 3. Inflammation and coagulation factors (fever, reduced platelet count, increased prothrombin time), as well as supply demand mismatch factors (hypotension, high shock index, noradrenalin use, and respiratory failure) were increasingly prevalent on days with troponin release (Table 37).
Viability in THSB over time in individual and mixed simulations without antibiotics is shown in Figure 2. In individual cultures mean colony counts increased from time 0 to 12 and 24 h in ≥1 log10 cfu/ml for all strains except S. pyogenes where similar colony counts were found at times 0, 12 and 24 h (≈6.05 log10 cfu/ml).
