The number of QDs on the patterns increased with the increase of the dot size: approximately 6 QDs per dot on the square dots with sides of length 100 nm (Fig. 5 b) and 170 QDs per dot on the square dots with sides of length 500 nm (Fig. 5 c).
However, upon increase of quantum dot size, the shift decreases and thus suggests a re-examination of singular experimental data available in the literature.
The band-edge emission also shifts to higher wavelength because of the increase of quantum dot size during the annealing process (Figure 3b).
Our revised second proposition also predicts that an increase of the dot luminance of one of the surfaces in a low luminance sphere causes longer mean dominance durations of the percept with these dots in the front while hardly influencing the dominance durations of the alternative percept.
The subtest increases in difficulty as children are asked to count and remember an increasing number of dot arrays, prior to recall.
The fact that the monkeys' reaction times decreased, instead of increasing, with increasing number of dots indicates that they were not counting the dots.
The prepared 3D C-TiO2 composites show enhanced visible light absorption and higher surface area with the increase of C-dot ratios.
These findings were further substantiated by the increase of LC3 dots accumulation in EEF2K-depleted cells (Fig. 1C).
This first generation of sample was designed to increase extraction efficiency of dot emission, which would help decrease accumulation time in Hanbury Brown and Twiss experiments.
In MA-skin an increased density of dots aligned in a more horizontal orientation was observed with moderate sensitivity (80%%) but high specificity (92.3%%) (φ = 0.73, χ = 32.2, p < 0.001).
