The limitations of this narrative review stem from the general lack of high-quality studies with clearly defined study populations and outcomes, the differences in exercise and nutritional intervention modes and study duration, as well as different target populations and the inconsistencies of used terms and definitions, thus making it hard to compare the results of different studies.
