Distinguishing between incidental age-related changes, treatable disease and the process of dying can be a vexed issue [ 4].
The 52 children (including 14 incidental cases) aged below 12 months at diagnosis represented an incidence of 42.6 per million; 40% of these infants were below 3 months at diagnosis.
