We will collect information on the awareness of AGW and its relationship with HIV, risk factors for HIV incidence, knowledge of HPV and HPV vaccine, penile washing, STI history, age, condom use, number of sexual partners, smoking, drug/alcohol use, sexual role (insertive or receptive partner) and current STIs.
We hypothesise that, over the course of the 24-month follow-up, the PEP will be associated with significant declines in NSI incidence, improved knowledge of HIV and related infections, uptake of occupational safety measures and decreases in behaviours that undermine HIV prevention (eg, syringe confiscation, police harassment of PWID at OST and SEPs).
