The children who are back at school already are unwitting workaholics in training, studying for the holy grail of 21st-century education in America: good test scores.
In the early years, Dutch EPs in training studied and learned from textbooks, journals, or courses abroad, some EPs in training even went abroad through exchange programs or worked at a foreign ED for some period of time.
A class of approximately 380 soldiers-in-training studied in engineering at Providence for a year before going overseas.
"Such patients might not be remarkable when seen indi vidually, but the realization that a large proportion of them came from one limited area," the editorial said, "suggested a com mon cause for the syndrome and set in train studies to de termine" the causal factors.
The demographic and clinical parameters of the subjects included in the training study are outlined in Table 1.
These findings established in the training study were replicated in the independent validation study for both lymph node negative and positive patients.
