In-hospital case history had been looked up to check determination of total and low-density-lipid (LDL) cholesterol levels (in cases of two or more values, we had considered the first determination), in-hospital statin treatment, and statin prescription at discharge from the hospital.

High levels of glycemia at the first determination in ACS patients are a long-term prognostic factor.
As to the VSC in the desired range, only at the first determination group B had higher percentage of patients with VSC in the normal range and, as a consequence, a lower percentage with a VSC over the range (Fig. 2).
Of note, the % of patients with a VSC higher than 35 mg/dl was extremely low in both groups (Group A: 0.95 % at the first determination, 1.42 % and 0.95 % at the second and third determination, respectively. Group B: 0.72 % at the first determination, 1.44 % at the second and third determination).
In one case, the initial response to ESAT-6 and CFP-10 antigens was 4 and 14 SFcells0,000 cells, respectively, and in the second determination no response was detected.
In the second determination after 4 years the no response against the ESAT 6 antigen stimulation was produced, and against CFP-10 antigen only 4 SFCs/250,000 was detected.
Median value of baseline CECs was 130 (minimum 4 to maximum 1,407) and 60.3 (minimum 0 to maximum 349) in the second determination, P = 0.02.
In the GECOH study the second determination of the AARR will be done 2 6 weeks after the screening test and is immediately followed by the SIT on the same day.
