Among patients who completed 12 months of treatment in the continuation study (N = 118;), mean change in weight and BMI was +1.8 kg and +0.7 kg/m2, respectively, with 16.1% having a weight gain of ≥7, and 5.9% having a weight loss of ≥7%.
Patients in the continuation study had a baseline visit (corresponding to week 16 of the initial study) and 10 scheduled follow-up visits at weeks 4, 8, 12, 16, 29, 24, 28, 32, 36 (during treatment) and 40 (follow-up).
Tazarotene and tazarotenic acid concentrations were measured in plasma samples collected before and 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12 and 24 h postdose at baseline and weeks 2 and 4. At week 12, samples were collected predose and 1, 2 and 3 h postdose in the first study and at 12-weekly intervals in all patients who completed at least 12 further weeks on treatment in the continuation study.
In the long-term extension of this phase IIb study [ 21] the investigators presented 12-month findings from patients who continued blinded therapy for an additional 6 months, but in this continuation study modification to methotrexate dose with/without change in DMARD was permitted.
Baseline demographic and clinical characteristics for patients in the current continuation study are summarized in Table 1.
In this post hoc analysis, Loebel and colleagues estimated rates of recovery, defined by combined symptomatic remission (MADRS ≤12) and functional remission (all SDS domain scores ≤3) sustained for at least 3 months in the 6-month continuation study, in patients treated with lurasidone monotherapy (Loebel et al. 2015).
The safety population consisted of all patients who received at least one dose of lurasidone in the 18-month continuation study that followed the initial 6-week double-blind study and the subsequent 6-month open-label extension study.
Primary investigation on this plant has led to the isolation ofpolyphenolic acids, several flavonoids and monoterpenoids [3 6], and in a continuation study to obtain minor constituents, two new monocyclicmonoterpenoid glycosides, rel- (1R,2S,3R,4R p-menthane-1,2,3-triol 3-O β-D-glucopyranoside (1R,2S,3R,4R p-menthane-1,2,3-triol1R,2S,3R,4R p-menthane-1,2,3-triol (2) were obtained (Figure 1R,2S,3R,4R p-menthane-1,2,3-triol
Among 306 injections, 27 episodes of local pain (8.8%) were reported, among them 20 episodes in one subject and 1 episode each in two subjects in the middle of the study, without further reporting in the continuation of the study.
In a continuation study, we plan to conduct a real-life assessment related to forest bioeconomy activity and apply this study as the core for our indicators and tools to assess its sustainability.
Our approach uses a robust energy method approach developed for the study of geometrical dispersive problems (Raphaël and Rodnianski, 2012 [18], Merle et al., 2011 [15]), and lies in the continuation of the study of the energy critical harmonic heat flow (Raphaël and Schweyer, 2011 [19]) and the energy critical four dimensional wave equation (Hillaret and Raphaël, 2010 [5]).
