Our data suggest that frovatriptan is efficacious and even superior in some endpoints also when taken during the headache phase in migraine attacks with aura.
The present study indicates that with a safety factor of 100 applied to a mixture-toxicity prediction, up to about 10% of "wrong" decisions have to be anticipated in some endpoints for some types of PPP.
Again, outcomes were not consistent, with significant differences in some endpoints defined, but not in all.
Furthermore, pharmacological studies have demonstrated that anxiogenic and anxiolytic drugs can influence the habituation response to the novel tank test and induce changes in some endpoint behaviors, such as freezing, erratic movements, hyperactivity, and bottom-dwelling (or diving) [12], [16], [19], [21] [24], [26], [27].

This developmental toxicity study in rabbits is limited by the study design (e.g. the number of pregnant does surviving to term in each dose group, especially the high-dose group) and inadequate reporting of data (e.g. the inclusion of inappropriate animals in the calculation of some endpoints, insufficient description of study results).
In some instances, endpoints may overlap to the point where no new information is supplied by the nonprimary endpoint.
Similarly, although a reduction in some cardiovascular endpoints were observed with metformin in obese patients with diabetes (UKPDS 34 1998), to date there are no CVD endpoint trials with metformin in patients with the metabolic syndrome.

As for some in vitro endpoints, no differences in response in subchronic inhalation studies in rats were observed if one type of sugar was replaced by another at the same application level (no controls without sugar application; Stavanja et al., 2003; Stavanja et al., 2006).
In some cases different endpoints such as genotoxicity, mutagenicity and carcinogenicity could be integrated (for review articles see [10 17]).
