The same increase in neural response amplitude in relation to layering of experience was also observed in several brain regions outside the AON, including the anterior and posterior cingulate, as well as in the anterior fusiform gyrus (see cluster-corrected regions in Table 1, and full listing of results in Supplementary Table 1).
More unstable areas are not necessarily more sensitive to climatic changes: the location of permeable layers (prone to groundwater rise) in relation to sensitive layers (lower strength) and higher gradients (higher stress) influences the sensitivity of a site with respect to climate changes.
To test whether the site of the injection within the barrel influenced the measured asymmetry of the axonal projection, we first made a plot of the approximate position of the center of the injection site in layer 2/3 in relation to the layer 4 barrel pattern reconstructed from cytochrome oxidase stained layer 4 sections.
We describe them in relation to the layers of our previously described model (see Figure 1), starting from the purpose towards the outer layers.

The distribution of haemorrhoidal arteries in relation to rectal layers and distance from the ARJ is shown in Table 1.
This suggests redundancy in Tbr2 function observed in relation to other layers (than L4) during cortical neurogenesis (Arnold et al. 2008).
Investigation of the position of the arteries in relation to rectal layers and levels showed that the mean arterial depth decreased significantly from the highest to the lowest level, reaching the shallowest depth at the most distal 2 cm of the rectum where nearly all of the arteries were in the submucosa; this feature was invariably found regardless of the circumferential sector investigated.
Position of the electrodes and the location of individual contacts of the 16-site linear silicon probe in relation to the hippocampal layers were identified histologically and by electrophysiological signatures of hippocampal SP, such as spiking activity and ripples appearance.
The favored positions of oxygen atoms at the (0.5,0) site for Top U and Top N slabs in relation to top surface layers are at ~1.13 and ~1.53 Å, respectively, with an adhesion energy per atom of ~7.8 and ~7.2 eV, respectively, for DFT and DFT + U methods of calculation.
