This paper describes the static and fatigue behaviour of in-line beam to beam connections made using glass fibre-reinforced plastic (GFRP), pultruded rods bonded into the end grain of LVL beams with epoxy resin.
The beam to beam samples were connected with three rod configurations and the mechanical performance of these in-line jointed beams was compared with solid unjointed LVL.
In this study, an in-line laser focused beam reflectance measurement (FBRM) C35 probe was used to investigate the effect of formulation and process parameters on the granule growth profile over time during the high shear wet granulation of a high drug load formulation of brivanib alaninate.
The neutral position was achieved when the trochanter major was in line with the beam, and the lordosis of the lower spine was slightly reduced (Fig. 2b).
Since our in-line holography approach retards beam-induced structure alterations, the question arises: to what measurable extent can structural integrity be maintained?
The final version of the developed application will be described in detail in this contribution, together with the final results, in terms of energy spectra and transmission efficiency along the in-vacuum beam line, obtained by performing end-to-end simulations.
Some of these new issues include: the length of the facility and of the undulator, the experimental floor in line with the electron beam and the occupancy near 0∘, and the very high instantaneous intensity of the FEL.
At each site the radar antenna was placed on a platform 2 m above ground level, such that the core area of bat activity was directly in line with the radar beam.
A CMOS camera in line with the OCT beam was used to guide OCT image acquisition.
In this transmission geometry shown in Fig. 2, the scattered light from each individual cell or particle interferes with the un-scattered light (which acts as the reference beam) generating an in-line hologram on the CMOS sensor plane [ 7].
The beam having simply supported boundary conditions was set up in the loading frame with sufficient care taken to ensure that the specimen was correctly positioned in the loading frame and the midpoint of the beam was in line with the centre line of the loading hydraulic jack.
