If Europe decides to allow 3 billion tonnes more emissions to occur it will knowingly increase the global risk we face, locking in high emission technologies and making the task of catching up more difficult in the following decade.
The declining trend of imported electricity in high emission scenario also demonstrates its interaction in the opposite way.
Encountered scenarios that can result in high emission measurement uncertainty or bias are discussed in term of these indicators.
In high emission scenarios (A1FI) with dispersal, we project species range centroids to shift by an average of up to 151 kilometers (see Fig. S1).
